Office Assistant (Cleaner)

About the Role

Law For All is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant (Cleaner) to ensure the overall cleanliness, neatness, and smooth running of our office environment. This role is vital in maintaining a professional and welcoming workspace for our team and clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (advantageous)
  • At least 1 year of relevant cleaning/office assistant experience
  • Fully bilingual in English and one other official South African language
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic administration skills
  • Computer literacy required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to take on reasonable requests and delegated tasks from management

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain office windows, furniture, floors, carpets, and equipment
  • Dust and polish work surfaces, including office equipment
  • Water plants weekly
  • Collect and wash cups, plates, and utensils after breaks
  • Keep the kitchen neat and tidy; clean microwave daily and fridge weekly
  • Clean photo frames, snapper frames, and bookcases
  • Empty bins daily and wash weekly
  • Refill coffee, tea, sugar canisters, and ensure milk is stocked
  • Disinfect and refill watercooler monthly
  • Report any office defects immediately to management
  • Submit signed monthly worksheet to SOA
  • Assist with any additional reasonable requests from management
