About the Role
Law For All is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant (Cleaner) to ensure the overall cleanliness, neatness, and smooth running of our office environment. This role is vital in maintaining a professional and welcoming workspace for our team and clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (advantageous)
- At least 1 year of relevant cleaning/office assistant experience
- Fully bilingual in English and one other official South African language
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic administration skills
- Computer literacy required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to take on reasonable requests and delegated tasks from management
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain office windows, furniture, floors, carpets, and equipment
- Dust and polish work surfaces, including office equipment
- Water plants weekly
- Collect and wash cups, plates, and utensils after breaks
- Keep the kitchen neat and tidy; clean microwave daily and fridge weekly
- Clean photo frames, snapper frames, and bookcases
- Empty bins daily and wash weekly
- Refill coffee, tea, sugar canisters, and ensure milk is stocked
- Disinfect and refill watercooler monthly
- Report any office defects immediately to management
- Submit signed monthly worksheet to SOA
- Assist with any additional reasonable requests from management
